Driving Plus have teamed up with one of the world's leading supply chain management companies, and are looking for reliable and experienced HGV (C+E) Class 1 drivers to work at their busy client's site based out of Nottingham. This is a very exciting opportunity to come and work for long term assignment with the possibility of temp to perm contract for the right candidate, at one of the most prestigious contracts in Nottingham area.
Our client continues to be one of the fastest growing, global supply chain providers and each successful candidate will be rewarded with long term ongoing assignment, full time working 5 days per week with the option to work on temp to perm contract for the right candidate, after 12 weeks worked. You will be assigned on to one of the following rota'd start times: Monday - Friday Inclusive between 17:00 - 20:00, between 20:00 - 23:00; Tuesday - Saturday Inclusive between 00:00 - 03:00, between 13:00 - 16:00, between 15:00 - 18:00, between 12:00 - 15:00; Sunday - Thursday Inclusive between 14:00 to 17:00. Driving Plus are delighted to offer regular start times, on either AM or PM shifts, or ad hoc / weekend shifts to suit. We will be able to provide the bookings a week in advance and as a professional C+E Class 1 driver you will be responsible for all aspects of trunking work throughout East Midlands and other counties. Only drivers of the highest calibre would suit this role to ensure customer expectations are met.
The rates for HGV Ltd Company Drivers are as follows:
* Monday and Friday Days - GBP12.00 per hour
* Monday and Friday Nights - GBP13.00 per hour
* Saturday - GBP15.00 per hour
* Sunday - GBP16.00 per hour
Only successful candidates, who will be getting a permanent contract after 12 weeks worked, will be entitled to 25 days holidays + 8 bank holidays and the salary of:
* Day shifts (04:00 - 19:29) - GBP27.830.40 per year
* Night shifts (19:30 - 03:59) - GBP29.477.76 per year
Only HGV category C+E drivers will qualify. A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required
