They have enjoyed continual growth for decades and this has lead to a new vacancy for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for their busy maintenance team.Your new roleYou will be following PPM schedules and handling repairs and breakdowns. A large part of your role will involve fault finding and root cause analysis on a range of equipment and machinery. You'll be involved in continual improvement processes to reduce machinery downtime and keep production to a high level. You may also be called upon to assist with new machinery installations.What you'll need to succeedYou'll be a time served Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing environment. You'll be multi-skilled and able to handle both mechanical and electrical maintenance. You'll be a good team player who can also work on their own initiative with a high regard for health and safety. You will have a pro-active attitude and a keen idea of production processes where downtime must be kept to a minimum.What you'll get in returnYou'll be offered a salary of GBP30k-GBP33k and an excellent benefits package. You'll be required to a shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off day shifts.
