Purchase Ledger Clerk Your new companyA leading organisation with the tourism industry are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis. Your new roleThe purchase of your new role will be to assist the Purchase Ledger Team Leader to provide timely and effective financial and accounting support to the Organisation on all payables.Responsibilities will include: To ensure prompt and full payment of all outstanding purchase invoices, according to agreed terms.To assist with prompt processing of company purchases invoices on time and in an accurate manner, matching to purchase orders or coding as necessary.To assist with the payment and allocation of miscellaneous expenditure and all other appropriate payables, to include credit card and cash transactions.To receive queries from suppliers and colleagues within the business by email and telephone. Resolving queries promptly and professionally and escalating to team leader when required. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will need to have previous experience in purchase ledger and be comfortable working in a team. What you'll get in returnIn return you will receive a basic salary of GBP16,875, 23 days holiday, pension scheme, limited health care scheme and free parking on site.
