Adecco are recruiting for a Production Supervisor for our client based in Exeter.
Experience of pulsing Production & 1st line Management of people would be a distinct advantage.
Needs to be smart, proactive, dynamic, enabler, strong & driven to ensure team succeed.
* To ensure labour & equipment resources are utilised efficiently & effectively, co-ordinating people and skills to fulfil agreed Production plans to meet Customer & business targets.
* To monitor and where required improve the quality of production output.
* To monitor and continually reduce all costs associated with production operations.
* To ensure profitable manufacturing of quality parts with on time delivery to Customers
* Ensure procedures & processes are followed by all Production staff
* Implementation of cost saving initiatives/more efficient ways of working
* To ensure all new products are integrated into the business with minimal disruption
* To develop people to ensure the optimum level of skills to fulfil their potential & meet the future needs of the organisation.
* To ensure the effective use of systems and processes to monitor and improve quality, cost-effectiveness and productivity
* To liaise with other functions to ensure optimum production performance through effective communication & efficient processes
