Our client is global manufacturer of volume products and we have an opportunity that has arisen for a Production Setter
Responsibilities:
• To carry out machine set ups in line with the Production Schedule and make the necessary adjustments to existing set-ups
• To provide a shift handover with previous and oncoming shifts
• record pre start checks and ensuring the correct product is made in accordance with the production schedule
• Carry out visual quality checks
• Install and set tools on assigned machines in line with the site production schedule
• To carry out minor repairs and to machines and auxiliary equipment
• To provide reasonable sickness cover if required
Person Specification:
• Previous experience of setting tools to agreed specifications
• IT literate
• Ability to communicate with colleagues and management
• Ideally possess a FLT CB Licence
