Sewell Moorhouse are working with a Accountancy Practice company based in Sheffield.
They are looking to add an experienced Practice Accountant to their growing team. Their office environment is very friendly and team focused. The new recruit would oversee 2 Junior Accountants whilst managing their own workload.
The Role:-
- Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Preparing statutory accounts.
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Managing petty cash transactions.
- Controlling credit and chasing debt.
- Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
- Bookkeeping.
- Accounts to review stage.
- Management accounts monthly/quarterly.
- Preparing VAT returns Quarterly standard and Flat rate scheme.
- Accruals / Prepayments.
- Inter-company accounts.
- Debtors & Creditors.
- Fixed Asset Registers.
- Dividend calculations.
Essential Requirements are:-
-Qualified by experience or at least 3-4 years experience.
-Experience in a PRACTICE environment is essential.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Professional, friendly and self-motivated character.
Desired Requirements:-
-Experience with Digita accounting software.
-Salary up to GBP20,000.
-Hours Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm.
