JOB: Quality Engineer
Sector: Automotive
Location: Kettering
Salary: Up to GBP45,000
Our client is a multinational 1st tier supplier of Automotive components to a range of OEM's and currently have a requirement for a Quality Engineer to join the existing team.
You will be a Quality Engineer from within the production of Volume Automotive Component, ideally metal based, having day to day responsibility for ensuring Quality Standards are met, working to TS16949 and using modern manufacturing methodology including 8D, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, CMM reports etc. to ensure customer satisfaction.
This will require a Quality Engineer with a hands on approach, liaising with all other departments and customers to ensure quality is maintained and issues, both internal and external, are resolved quickly and efficiently. This will be achieved whilst working towards Continuous Improvement and cost reduction through good quality engineering principles.
This is an ideal opportunity for an established Quality Engineer with a proactive can do attitude to progress their career with a major international 1st tier supplier.
