Due to our client's continued success and growth, they have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Quotations Advisor. This is an integral role in a team of five within a demanding but friendly team environment. Located just off the M1 junction in Wakefield, on a full time, permanent basis. The Key Duties and Responsibilities of this role are:
To develop and deliver competitive and accurate quotes on standard, non-standard and special products, providing a technical investigation and advice role through researching and fact-finding. Ensuring in doing so that you will form and maintain close relationships with all relevant departments through full and timely communication.
The quotations team is responsible for increasing business opportunities, from trading, lapsed and new customers ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
Overall you will provide and maintain internal administrative support and ensure effective delivery of customer service. In doing so you will be required to work accurately in a timely manner and to tight deadlines.
The requirements for the role are:
General office experience including; handling telephone calls with a professional telephone manner, customer service and sales office experience and a working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and Outlook.
You will ideally posses excellent communication skills and the ability to work as an enthusiastic and proactive team player.
Educated to GCSE in Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
It would be advantageous if you have worked within a manufacturing or technical environment.
