The RoleEdif ERA is offering an opportunity for a high calibre, talented Programme Management Consultant to join its growing Management Services team, the role will involve UK travel to support Edif ERA customers' onsite. The Management Services team specialise in managing complex programmes; to include provision of complete turnkey solutions to SME's, mobilisation of Prime Contractor teams delivering multi-million pound programmes and delivery of short term transient requirements. Our support ranges from project control to programme delivery in the areas of concept through to mobilisation. Key Responsibilities Work with a team of Programme, Bid and Commercial Managers on a variety of complex programmes providing direct hands on services to customers to define and deliver suitable strategies Submit Expression Of Interest (EOI) documents, Capability Questionnaires, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ), respond to Invitations To Tender (ITTs) and clarification questions Co-ordinate technical, commercial and financial teams during bids to provide timely and compliant responses Run the proposal lifecycle: bid / no bid meetings, bid plans, reviews, post bid negotiations and lessons learnt Highlight non-technical / technical risks, established mitigations and maintain the risk register Liaise with contract staff to ensure T's & C's are agreeable, purchasing staff to review quotations and engineering staff to ensure 24/7 support service availability Prepare financial proposal information including cost and sell pricing sheets, milestone payment plans, cash flow and financial status reports Promote the Management Services capability and contribute to business development efforts by actively pursuing contacts (both current & future) Skills, Experience & Qualifications Extensive experience of the Programme Management of complex Defence, Energy, Transportation & Rail or NHS programmes across the lifecycle process Significant Bid Management experience and an in depth knowledge of the Shipley Bid Winning process Practiced in managing multiple technical projects simultaneously from bid / design stages to production Good understanding of legal, financial, commercial and supply chain aspects across the tender process Qualification in Project Management or equivalent (APMP and / or PRINCE2 highly desirable) Highly proficient with MS Office programmes including Microsoft Project or equivalent Willing to undertake the Security Vetting process and be Security Cleared at the point of employment Behavioural Competencies Able to establish excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues Meticulous planning skills with highly developed organisational and time management skills Able to present ideas successfully with strong negotiation and persuasion skills High quality standards with focus on service delivery and excelling customers' expectations Excellent report writing skills able to apply a tailored approach to meet customer needs Strong analytical and numerical skills able to produce workable solutions to problems Flexible, able to adapt to changing client and/or business needs
