The Opportunity
Our client is a leading food manufacturer who produces some of the UK's most loved brands which have been in our lives for over a century.
With 13 locations Nationwide and over 4,000 employees, this is a company who consistently works to produce food to the highest quality and to constantly innovate their products to provide modern customers with what they want.
We currently have an opening for an Interim Management Accountant to join their production site in Barnsley to provide dedicated financial resource to support and challenge the manufacturing operation at a site level.

The Role;
• Monitoring production stock levels and flag aged stock
• Labour forecasting (recovery, simulation vs. actual) and yield analysis
• Checking and approving costings
• Completing monthly and weekly reporting (KPI's, FPR, etc.)
• Supporting the Finance Manager with both internal and external audits
• Working with the Finance Manager on the site operations budget
• Completing forecasts and budgets in conjunction with site management teams
• Driving cost reductions

Working hours; Monday - Friday; 8:30 - 17:00

The Candidate;
• Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of analysing variance reports
• SAP knowledge would be ideal
• Part-Qualified / Qualified accountant
