We wish to appoint a Pastoral Support Officer to help the Pastoral team with the day to day running of the Department.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the Academy's Pastoral system, working with a Pastoral Year Lead and students in a particular year group. Our Pastoral team has to combine the task of being caring professionals looking after the well-being of students whilst having the ability to intervene assertively with behaviour issues.
The successful candidate must be able to relate to young people and their parent/carers and have the ability to liaise with parents and teachers. The role is 35 hours per week 08:30-16:00, 39 weeks per year.
