Supply Teacher

Hays Education are currently seeking Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools throughout the Wigan area. Your new companyHays Specialist Recruitment are a market leading recruiter for the Education sector and with a strong presence and good reputation in the local area, have a need for Secondary teachers to work locally in the Wigan and surrounding areas. Your new roleWorking for Hays Education as a supply teacher, you will be responsible for teaching your specialist subject across a range of schools in the Wigan and surrounding areas. For short term assignments all planning and preparation will be completed and there will be no requirement for marking and assessment to be completed, therefore giving you an attractive work life balance. However, should you be keen to undertake longer term assignments, you will be required to complete the above. Your responsibility will be to provide effective teaching to pupils, ensuring all behaviour is managed appropriately and ensuring that you are creating a positive learning environment. Assignments can be for as little as 1 day, with others continuing for a full academic year and often becoming permanent. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing a role with Hays as a Supply Teacher, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have a flexible approach, as well as being adaptable as you will be going into a range of schools.
