Our Client is a charity, concerned with improving the treatment & care of animals. The business is continuing to grow and a new person is needed to help support this. Exceptional communication and organisational skills are key attributes. The main responsibilities are as follows: - Liaising with the chief executive, venue finder and business director on aspects of location, venue choice, budgets (including comparative costings) and sponsors for congress, conferences and other events.Conduct site visits/recces with relevant people for events and conferences.Liaise with various departments to develop brochures, marketing materials and proceedings for conferences/events.Work with the veterinary department and others to liaise with speakers, organising their accommodation, talk etc.Liaising with the venue finder and conference/event venues for organisation of events - including accommodation, event rooms, catering, security etc.Booking and coordinating conference attendee's registrations, ensuring payments and delegate information is received and linking with appropriate departments/personnel.Liaising with sponsors for their various requirements, including PR events during conferences, in collaboration with the business director.Coordinating the team at conferences/events and liaising with staff/volunteers. Help with manning the stand, answering queries, giving out information, registration and other duties as required.Working with the accounts department to produce financial reports, to make and chase payments with all parties involved with an event/conference.Working with the digital communications department to update the website with information and promotional material for conferences.Assist the digital communications department with webinar administration and other online events.Help to develop both traditional conferences for different audiences and using new technology, e.g. online conferences, webinars etcGeneral office duties as required.Need to be able to attend conference events, some overseas You will need to be a car owner & driver. Our Client is based 15 miles west of Salisbury.
