Design Engineer

Do you have working experience designing electro- mechanical products using CAD? Do you have experience in mechanical and/or electro-mechanical design? Do you live within 30miles of Basingstoke? The Company Our client is a well-established vibrant, fun company based in Basingstoke, Hampshire who are seeking a designer. As a company they design, build and manufacture on-site machine and specific equipment, that involve motors, electrical cabinets, control panels, electric switches, conveyer belt/rollers, turnkey systems, pneumatics', gear boxes and aluminium. You: The Designer role would suit someone that loves CAD design and has a great deal of enthusiasm for seeing their designs from conception, prototype to full manufacture. You will ideally have Inventor 3D, Solidworks or Solidedge Autodesk/CAD software experience. Responsibilities include: Be responsible for standard product design and custom projects, designing and detailing from concept through to production.To make all necessary research and calculations for system solutions.Technical documentation, calculations, and BOM through to manufacture.Project Management where applicable.
