Supplier Relationship Manager - IT & Corporate
A utilities provider are recruiting a Supplier Relationship Manager to manage critical IT and corporate services suppliers / subcontractors. Applicants need SRM or strategic procurement expertise with IT, IS, FM, marketing, security, or similar suppliers.The Supplier Relationship Manager - IT & Corporate Services will be responsible for leading and developing supplier relationships for a small suite of critical suppliers. Working closely with suppliers/subcontractors and internal stakeholders, the SRM will explore ways of adding more value to the relationship and delivering cost savings.Specific duties of the SRM include:1.Establish mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and subcontractors2.Serve as an interface between supplier/subcontractor and internal stakeholders3.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage elements of supplier/subcontractor performance4.Measure and capture the benefits of supplier relationships5.Conduct supply chain analysis and market intelligence activities6.Facilitate reviews between stakeholders and suppliers/subcontractors7.Monitor Expenditure and ensure discounts or rebates are applied8.Support Category Managers throughout the contract lifecycle9.Achieve annual savings as agreed with line manager10.Contribute to a department undergoing change and transformationSupplier Relationship Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:1.SRM or strategic procurement experience with IT, or professional / corporate services (FM, marketing, security, insurance etc.) suppliers2.Experience of developing progressive and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers3.The gravitas to handle complex stakeholder relationships4.Have an innovative and creative approach to procurement5.The ability to support a department undergoing change and process improvement6.MCIPS / Degree - desirable
