Financial Controller

Our client, a global tier one automotive supplier serving all major vehicle manufacturers are looking to recruit a strong Financial Controller. The role:Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and being a member of the Senior Management Team the Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented. Reporting to this position will be x 5 direct reports.Job Duties:• Manage all day to day financial activities• Ensure all monthly closing is accurate & timely in adherence to IFRS• Provide key decisions making support to Managers on Cash & P&L forecasting, management reporting, preparation of annual operating plan, capital expenditure manageent & justification• Preparation of budgets, forecast & cash flows with ad hoc revision to budgets as necessary during the financial year• Calcultation of monthly accruals, prepayments, depreciation• Preparation of monthly P&L, balance sheet, detailed variance analysis• Cash management, treasury duties & cash flow forecasting• Ensure tax declarations are prepared and filed in a timely manner• Primary point of contact and provide support to external auditors, tax consultants & local compliance (Sarbanes Oxley)• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts• Review of supplier payments & staff expense prior to authorisation• Provide financial modelling and analysisCandidate Profile:• CIMA Qualification or equivalent• Minimum of 3 years' experience required (post qualification)• Strong Supervisory skills• Must have outstanding mathematical skills; honesty; integrity; reliability; solid written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail; organisational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skillsIf interested by the opportunity and looking for a tough but exciting challenge, please apply below.
