NPI Engineer - New Product Introduction Engineer - Thermoforming Project Engineer - Automotive - Manufacturing - Cannock Are you an engineer who would like to get involved with new products before they make it to the production line? Brooklyn Recruitment currently have a fantastic role available for an NPI Engineer / New Product Introduction Engineer / Thermoforming Project Engineer to join a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry. The company are based in the Cannock area on the West Midlands / Staffordshire boarder. As NPI Engineer / New Product Introduction Engineer / Thermoforming Project Engineer you will be taking responsibility for the introduction of a new product from original enquiry stage right the way through to production starting up. Your duties will involve: Liaising with the customer and internal staff.Specifying what new equipment / tooling is needed.Coordinating pre-production samples.Ensuring that all customer requirements are met.Resolving any quality concerns.Providing solutions to any issues that arise.Planning and directing all activities (SQA, APQP, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering).Ensuring a smooth transition into production.Ensuring on time and within budget delivery.Other duties as required To be suitable for this position of NPI Engineer / New Product Introduction Engineer / Thermoforming Project Engineer you should hold a technical engineering qualification as well as having experience of managing projects from cradle to grave. You should have extensive foams or plastics experience within the automotive sector and have exceptional communication skills. The working hours for this NPI Engineer / New Product Introduction Engineer / Thermoforming Project Engineer role are Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 1pm!
