Our client designs and develops cutting edge electronic equipment used in a range of leading technology projects. As Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for the design and project management activities focusing on subsystem, sub-assembly and test systems development. In a hands-on capacity you will take designs from concept stage through proving, test, validation and certification in readiness for manufacture whilst working to budget and strict timescales.
The Person
An Electronics Design Engineer with a background developing high integrity products of a safety critical nature you may have worked in industries including aerospace, defence, space, automotive, oil & gas, medical or similar.
Exposure or experience to a good mix of the following technologies is required - PCB design and layout, FPGAs and VHDL, SoC configurations, digital electronic design (microprocessors), analogue electronics, RF, Power Electronics, Actuators, PSU, Invertors, Test Systems Architecture, ModelSim, Zuken. Ideally you will have experience with safety and directives such as low voltage and EMC
