Our client is looking for an inspiring and motivating Lecturer in Pastry to join their Hospitality team.

As a Lecturer at the College your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maximising learner recruitment, retention and success through the provision of an outstanding educational experience which enable learners to maximise their potential.
  • Delivering outstanding courses which meet learner needs through the use of a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies, allowing learners to access a comprehensive range of resources and providing comprehensive assessment opportunities.
  • Completing and maintaining effective data in relation to learners including, attendance, individual learner targets, progression, achievement and destination.
  • Being responsible for a course/courses of study and learner outcomes.

With a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery or related subject and extensive experience in industry as a Baker, Patisserie Chef or Confectioner. You will be required teach Level 1 to Level 3 VRQ and NVQ professional pastry chef qualifications.  You must hold a recognised level 5 teaching qualification and qualifications equivalent to level 2 in Maths and English or be willing to complete these qualifications within a specified time.
