Prepress/Production Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy Bath based printers.

The position involves having a dual role working within the prepress department and also with production.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a Prepress studio, including preparing and processing customer’s files through the proofing stage to finishing at the CTP or digital printing stage. The role will also include assisting the production manager in scheduling work for our busy factory. Good attention to detail is essential along with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude.

Key attributes preferred :

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Print estimating systems.
• Imposition software.
• Understanding of a R.I.P (Agfa Apogee).
• Experience of printing processes, digital and litho.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience working with Macs.

It is essential that we employ the right person - one that is willing to be versatile.
