What’s the job?
At first direct, we’re famous for providing amazing service to our customers and we’re looking for passionate, friendly people with relevant customer service experience to join our Mortgage Acquisition team. You’ll be on the front line, taking calls from existing and prospective customers. You will take them through Mortgage Agreement in Principal and answer any queries they may have.
You’ll need lots of technical knowledge so, if successful, you’ll have intensive training to provide you with all the skills you need to be a star. You’ll already have the experience; our training will ensure you have even better customer conversations, each and every day. During these conversations you’ll ask questions to establish a customer’s banking needs and discuss what products and services are right for them. To do this, you really need to be on the ball to make sure our customers always feel extra special.
The Mortgage Associate role is fast paced and ever changing so you’ll need to be resilient, pro-active, and able to take on new challenges with a smile. Our expectations are high and we want you to do well so we’ll help you every step of the way to make sure you’re on the right path.
When you'll work
We have full time Mortgage Associate vacancies available working 35 hours per week, over a variety of shift patterns throughout the department operating window of 08:00-22:00, seven days a week.
The start date is 30th January 2017.
So if you think you’ve got what it takes to be one of our people people, you’ll enjoy 7 weeks full time induction and training program designed to get you up to speed on the systems, products and services we offer, before you “go live” on the phones. As the training is intensive it is important that you are able to attend the whole of the course, so consequently, you will be unable to take any holidays during your training period. Training is full time, Monday - Friday 8:30 - 16:00.
