Courtyard Care Plus is recruiting!

We are currently recruiting up to 60 hrs in Merseyside/Cheshire for the role of Children’s Nurse - Trainer/Practitioner. We have full and part time hours available working 20 - 40 hours per week.

Courtyard Care Plus is a provider of community health and social care for children, young people and adults with complex health needs living in their own homes and to our sister company’s residential children’s homes.  Feedback tells us we that we provide reliable, effective and safe support that makes a real & positive difference for the people and families we support.

We work across Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire. Our services are commissioned by local NHS CCG’s or Social Care Services and sometimes privately.

As we have grown we have successfully been awarded tenders and packages of care ranging from 20 hrs a week to in excess of 100 hrs per week. Our small clinical team is now at full capacity and in order to maintain our high standards of care and management we are now looking to recruit up to 60 additional hrs (per week) of RSCN/ Paediatric Nurses or RGN to join our team.

Based in our Liverpool office, the role will involve assisting the Clinical Lead & Registered Manager in delivering in-house teaching/training, ongoing assessment of our community support workers, including competence measurement and clinical skills ‘sign off’.

The Children’s Nurse - Trainer/Practitioner roles also involve the assessment of the service users’ needs and assisting with the formulation of both risk management plans & support plans and updates for our in-house training packages.

The Children’s Nurse - Trainer/Practitioner role will require the ability to work flexibly. Although the majority of our work is completed during normal office hours you will be required to work some weekend, evening & night shifts and ‘on call’ in a planned and coordinated manner. Each Nurse has small manageable case loads.  All nursing team members receive lots of support from the Clinical Lead from individual supervisions sessions to regular clinical team meetings.

We are ideally looking for children’s nurses who have experience of working with/ managing complex children’s care and the ability to assess and devise support plans for children with ventilator needs, tracheostomy needs, oral suctioning and other complex medical conditions.

However we welcome applications from RGN’s who can demonstrate a good working practice in all areas of complex needs management.

If you feel you need a change from traditional NHS work roles, want to be part of a growing and quality provider and have the ability to work under guidance from our Clinical Lead and on your own initiative and can be resourceful but work within clear guidelines and boundaries then please apply/enquire using the link supplied.

We will respond to all enquiries and will arrange an immediate no obligation ‘chat’ with our Clinical Lead/Managing Director.

Closing Date: 17th January 2017
