An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and highly motivated Head of Department English Teacher to join a diverse and highly-supportive Secondary School in Stevenage for a permanent assignment. Starting from January 2017, the successful Teacher will be joining a community fill school where your opinions are valued and are able to make a difference.
The school are currently seeking a Head of Department for English that can deliver the curriculum to GCSE standard. Being able to teach to A Level is essential. The English department is very well-resourced and is looking for the right candidate to develop and enhance further.
The successful applicant will be a holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You will be an English Teacher with a clear passion for your subject area and a hard-working, dedicated and ambitious nature. Excellent subject knowledge and practical knowledge within all areas of English is imperative for this role.
Our client school are looking to appoint an outstanding English teacher with a track record of raising attainment levels and who can share in the schools desire to gain a 'Good' OFSTED report.
