Paralegal - Commercial Property

Foot Anstey have an exciting opportunity available for a Paralegal to join our Commercial Property team based in Southampton. You will receive a highly competitive salary & benefits package.

The Paralegal role makes an important contribution to the overall work of the Commercial Property team and supporting the team leader with the day delivery and growth of the unit activities. Primarily working with a residential development team.

Key responsibilities as our Paralegal - Commercial Property

- To provide support on a wide variety of property transactions, which may include:

- Sales and purchases of residential and commercial properties and development sites.

- Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, licences and other commercial property documentation.

- Reviewing/collating electronic data and preparing files

- To support others in the team with any specific business development and marketing activities to develop client work and fee income as part of supporting the business and strategic plans

- To ensure appropriate a quality service and compliance for all matters in accordance with agreed standard policies

- To consistently meet all KPI and targets and any other broader objectives as agreed on a quarterly and annual basis as part of the Team plans

- To assist and support others within the Unit and wider Team with meeting targets, objectives and assist with ad hoc projects and duties when required

- To be a role model for the Foot Anstey Values and encourage the others to do the same

Skills and Attributes needed to become our Paralegal - Commercial Property

- Enthusiasm for and experience of property work

- Demonstrate commercial awareness and business aptitude in making decisions on a day to day basis.

- Experience of some business development and marketing activities in support of the Unit increasing the client base.

- A highly flexible approach and the capability to work well and flourish within a team environment.

- Excellent all round communication skills including the capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
