We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At The Scout Association we are currently looking for Seasonal Instructors to join our team based in Youlbury, Oxfordshire. The successful candidates will join us on a full time, fixed term contract until 31 October 2017 working 40 hours per week and will receive a competitive rate of GBP15,027 per annum plus an excellent benefits package. About the Seasonal Instructor role As a key member of the our team on centre, this job is all about ensuring our guests get the best possible experience whilst visiting us, through ensuring we understand their needs and motivating the staff team to deliver the best possible guest care. What we're looking for in our Seasonal Instructor The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time as we really drive forward what we do to deliver a range of activities based on the Scouting method of learning by doing, small group work and character education. You will need a real passion for working with young people in the great outdoors to provide fun, educational and safe adventurous experiences, and will have a good knowledge of the outdoor industry with particular experience in delivering training activities. As well as a large range of land based activities at all our site; our Kielder Centre (Hawkhirst) benefits from an extensive shoreline with access directly onto Kielder Water, for this reason the ideal candidate will have experience or interest in either Dinghy Sailing or Paddle sports.
