Laboratory Technician - CMC

We are looking for Laboratory Technician with an interest in Science and wants to build a long term career with us As a Laboratory Technician at Envigo your main responsibilities will be: The Laboratory Technician is responsible for providing an effective service, supporting the day to day activities within the CMC Services laboratories. Ensuring that all laboratory equipment is maintained in a clean condition appropriate to analytical work being undertakenEnsuring that all appropriate chemicals are available to ensure optimum turnaround of analytical workRoutinely checking the performance of freezers, refrigerators and environmental cabinets/rooms and verifying accuracy of associated monitoring equipment.Verifying pipettes and performing equipment qualification after full trainingAssisting with maintenance of stock levels of consumables and glassware used within the labs, m aintaining stock levels of solvents in each laboratory, labelling solvents when brought into the buildingEnsuring general cleanliness of laboratory areas in accordance with good housekeeping procedures The skills and experience we're looking for are: G.C.S.E. education level or equivalent or aboveGood interpersonal skills.Ability to follow instruction exactlyPrevious laboratory support experience is desirableAn interest in Science If you are professional, forward thinking, enthusiastic and highly motivated, then we want you to join us and help us achieve our mission - to be the best company to work with and the best company to work for.
