Amey and HMP Full SuttonAs part of Amey's Utilities and FM section under the contract for Ministry Of Justice Prisons, HMP Full Sutton are looking for an Apprentice Decorator to join an in-house maintenance team to assist in the carrying out of decorating repairs and maintenance. The Apprentice will abide by the Health and Safety at Work Regulations in order to maintain a safe working environment and to carry out the duties and responsibilities in compliance with Amey's policies. What will this role involve? To attend York College and study a NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating To assist in decorating maintenance and repairs and any other duties which may from time to time reasonably be required within the general level of responsibility of the post Gain workplace practical experience through on the job learning To carry out Escort duties when required What are we looking for? 2 GCSE's (or equivalent) grades A* - C in Maths and English Commitment to achieving NVQ Level 2 Applicants must be 18 or over CTC Security clearance is required before employmentGood practical skills A willingness to work in confined spaces
