Quality Systems Auditor (Food manufacture)

Career move for a food sector technical professional looking to take ownership of technical functions in an expanding company.

Our client supplies ready meals to retailer clients. They are successful and growing, looking to build on an already impressive business.

*Take ownership for the Technical agenda
*Food safety, QMS and compliance will be part of your remit
*Strong belief in the value of technical excellence as a business tool
*Previous experience in a BRC compliant business
*Fantastic opportunity to progress to Technical Manager
Ideally :-
*Degree (or equivalent) in a food related subject
*Good all round food industry experience.
*Influencing skills - must be able to challenge existing systems (and people) to bring about improvement.
*Strong communicator when dealing with Customer's Technical manager of technical issues.
*Sound technical and food safety knowledge
*Experience of Quality Management Systems including BRC
*Advanced HACCP and Food Hygiene certificate
*Report writing, clear and concise presentation of information
*Lead Auditor
*Self-motivated, focused and able to work on own initiative
*Can manage people, processes and initiatives in a supportive team based structure
