Trainers/Assessors

Adore Education are currently recruiting for a large College/ University in Essex.

We are looking for trainers/Assessors that can teach a varied range of subjects that include the following:

English, Maths/ Accountancy, Science, Manufacturing/ Engineering, Music, Art, ESOL, Business Studies, Food Technology (cooking), ICT/Computer Science, Hair and Beauty, Public Services, Construction

Training and Qualifications required:

* Good General educational background to include a minimum of 5 GCSE passes or equivalent including Mathematics and English.
* Level 3 qualification (or Equivalent)
* Level 3 Award in Education and training or the willingness to obtain within 12 months
* Assessor award (or willingness to achieve whilst in post)
* Evidence of C.P.D

Knowledge/ Experience

* Significant experience of working in industry within and advanced environment
* Knowledge of current safeguarding and equality and diversity practices in FE

Skills/ Abilities

* Good team working skills particularly the ability to work closely and effectively with other staff
* Committed to teaching young people
* Up to date practical advanced skills
* Proactive approach to work and the willingness to take on new and challenging tasks
* Good knowledge of health and safety requirements
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritise work effectively to meet targets
* Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and quality
* Able to work without supervision
* Good IT skills in Microsoft office

Special Requirements

* Able to work evenings and outside of usual working hours as required to meet the needs of employers and the faculty
* Able to travel to and from other campuses
