If you're an experienced IT based technical Solutions Designer seeking a permanent position with an employer of choice in the Milton Keynes area and one that offers an attractive package and an enviable environment, then please read on???
Working for this global leader in its field and collaboratively within a team structure, you'll report directly to the Head of Centre for Excellence Architecture and be responsible for a range of design activities, monitoring and enforcing developer creation quality, and ensuring development frameworks and standards are fit for purpose. You'll also provide on hand technical expertise and guidance to developers, with a focus on a service orientated architectural approach.
- Producing designs for software application systems
- Monitoring development team build solutions
- Participating in the continuous improvement of development methods
- Coaching and supervising junior team members
- Developing, documenting and communicating a technology standards policy
- Researching emerging technologies
With strong demonstrable experience of designing, developing, deploying, testing and maintaining technical assets, you will also possess recent software development experience from within a multi-user business applications environment
The ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary software development team is essential, as is strong knowledge of various software tools and development methods including Object Orientated, Distributed Version Control, SQL and Agile Application Development
On offer in return is a basic salary of up GBP41,000 - GBP46,000 per annum (negotiable subject to experience), along with an attractive benefits package that includes in excess of 30 annual holiday entitlement from the outset
