This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills and experience with a range of laboratory equipment to provide technical support to students and staff in the Physics and Astronomy teaching laboratories and other areas of the department.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the resources and devising technical solutions to a range of practical problems to facilitate effective teaching.

The successful candidate will have well-developed interpersonal skills in order to work closely with senior technicians and academic colleagues and promote a positive image of the service.
