Building Surveyor GBP32,000 to GBP42,000 North West Area

Our International Client is a leading provider within the structural insurance marketplace and other construction-related products and services and due to their ever continuing growth, they are recruiting for a Surveyor in the North West region, ideally based in Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas to join their Survey Inspection Team. Job Description The role includes inspections of homes being constructed and / or converted.Candidates will be required to work closely with Developers, Builders and Clients to ensure as far as is reasonably possible the works are in accordance with the Technical and Building Regulations, by offering technical advice and guidance.Completing inspection reports, uploading reports to the central database and working with Survey Administrative Assistants to ensure reports are communicated to clients.Provide a superior client service through building and maintaining strong client relationships as well as efficiently and accurately responding to client enquiries.Effectively management of workload to ensure timely, helpful and professional service to clients in planning and execution of inspections, while maximising the number of inspections in any given day.Working with Survey Administrative Assistants to ensure client records are updated and maintained accurately.Ensure inspections target a zero claims ratio.Regular liaison with other team Surveyors to ensure inspection standards and services are consistent. Desired Skills and Experience Qualified Surveyor (TechRICS, ACIOB ABEng, LICWCI or similar) with at least two years' relevant experience of site inspections and warranty experience In depth technical knowledge of Building Regulations and construction standards and evidence of continuous professional development- keeping up to date with changes to these regulations and related legislation. Previous experience of working on site Self starter, self motivated and committed to providing superior client service Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Full UK / NI Drivers LicenceNHBC Trained Surveyors especially welcome
