One of the UK's most versatile venues seeks an experienced business development manager. The venue is market-leading within the region and attracts a diverse range of exhibitions, fairs and live events. Business Development ManagerVenue SalesGBP45,000 - GBP54,000 OTE*This is a field sales position based out of offices in Cambridgeshire.* The successful candidate will be a talented venue salesperson with a keen eye for opportunity - the role is ideal for an events sales professional with energy and enthusiasm, complemented by strong commercial acumen. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating various sales opportunities, with the aim of quickly building a personal portfolio of market leading events. The successful candidate will maximise the venue's organic growth and deepen relationships with clients of varying degrees of scale, demonstrating a great knowledge of both core products and additional services. Required Experience Experienced events industry professionals - with extensive experience selling venue space within a suitably senior capacity.Excellent knowledge of the events industry with an existing address book of exhibition organiser contacts.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills, organisation and creative thinking are essential.
