Sous Chef ~ High Profile ~ Great Hours!

Berkeley Scott are very pleased to be working in partnership with this very high-end operator in the Birmingham area, in one of the most stunning sites around.We are hoping to find a great calibre Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef to support the head Chef in this very high-profile position.You will be the right-hand person to the Head Chef in this fully-autonomous site, helping with the management and training of the junior brigade, contributing to the menus, bringing fresh ideas to the table - All with some GREAT hours thrown in the mix as well!You should be a brilliant cook in your own right - If you have worked in accoladed kitchens with Rosettes and Stars, this could be an advantage, but is by no means a pre-requisite- It will be more important to have a huge passion for food and cooking.The site does a lot of really high-profile events and functions, so if you are looking to make a name for yourself quickly and have the chance to work alongside some of the very best (and some of the most famous) Chefs in the industry, then this could be for you.Unusually for a position which has so much exposure, the hours here are really, REALLY good - No more slogging it out for 12 hours per day - Even late shifts here finish very early, and your contracted hours will be between 40 and 45 hours, with any overtime worked PAID IN FULL, in addition to your salary of up to GBP26,000 + Bonus.You should also be able to show some good tenacity and loyalty on your CV, and not have hopped around too much - We are looking for seriously dedicated industry professionals who want to make a name for themselves!In order to ensure your enquiry with regards to this position is dealt with quickly, please send in an up-to-date copy of your Curriculum Vitae in a Word Document format.
