Supplier Accountant

Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for a Supplier Accountant based in Harlow. This role is being offered on an initial 12 Month Fixed Term Contract with the opportunity to go permanent. The role will be responsible for recording the financial transactions, costs and credits for international suppliers. Typical Duties Include: Liaising with suppliers in order to resolve complex issues Raising of credit notes when necessary, recording onto system and accounting for VATCommunicating with necessary internal departments to investigate account discrepancies, incorrect quotes or claims Chasing suppliers for missing credit notes Supporting Supplier Accounting Team and non-finance teams for external auditReporting of supplier costing/credit statistics Manipulation of data and identifying trends using Microsoft ExcelOther Ad-Hoc Duties as required The ideal candidate will be currently studying towards the completion of their AAT Qualification and have prior experience in Cost Accounting. You must be capable of responding to supplier queries in a timely manner whilst providing a high degree of customer service.
