Finance Administrator/PA to the Director .Permanent position - Halifax (HX1)Circa GBP18000 per Annum DOEFull time hours Role Purpose: To contribute to the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts and with the Financial Accounting work throughout the month to ensure that all requirements are completed accurately and to deadline.Essential requirements:• Be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent • Some experience of spreadsheet work • Numerate • Have a willingness to undertake financial training• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work• PA experience• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressureDuties and responsibilities:• Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts, forecasts and budgets to ensure that they are completed to deadline. • Investigate and provide analysis/reports for both internal and external customers • Deal accurately with internal and external customer requests, in order to satisfy the request or direct it appropriately. • Complete general administration tasks within the Financial Accounts environment to support all financial reporting and processing. • Provide cover for all finance department disciplines to ensure that the workload of the department is covered. • Control purchase transactions from invoice receipt through to payment to ensure that suppliers are paid appropriately, promptly and accurately and good supplier relationships are maintained. • Prepare post and control expense claims through to payment to ensure that employees are paid appropriately, promptly and accurately in accordance with company guidelines. • Perform supplier reconciliations and liaise with suppliers to ensure that payments are made to the correct value.
