The opportunity is full time, and teaching across the Sciences at Key Stages 3 & 4. A specialist strand of Science is preferable but not essential.The ideal candidate will:*have strong subject knowledge of Science with ability to teach across Key Stages 3 & 4.*have good behaviour management skills and the ability to keep pupils engaged and on task.*display consistently good and outstanding teaching in an effort to improve student achievement.*be able to offer students opportunities to work independently and reach goals on their own merits but with your support.*identify students who require extra help, and give them effective direction in order to close gaps in attainment between different groups.*be able to keep a calm head under pressure and maintain a sense of humour.Leaders and governors at the school instil an ethos founded on high expectations for all pupils and teaching staff.
