Senior Claims Handler

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Claims Handler or Paralegal to join the expanding team of this well-known Insurance provider, based in Glasgow. The role would be perfect for someone with more than a year's experience in Claims Handling, keen to work in a more senior position and provide support to more junior colleagues. Salary is dependent on individual experience. The successful Senior Claims Handler will take initial instructions from clients and advise them on appropriate legal action and other alternative solutions. The role will also involve assisting the Team Leaders in providing guidance and coaching to more junior colleagues, including assisting with complex issues and advising on changes in law reforms, and deputising in the Team Leaders' absence. Candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and ideally have more than a years' experience in handling Claims in a similar environment within the Insurance industry, or handling RTA claims in a law firm. It is preferred that candidates have some legal education (CILEX, LLB, etc) however all candidates will be considered.
