Our client are market leaders in the manufacture and supply of furniture and soft furnishings to a number of leading high street retailers and into the caravan and leisure industry.
Due to business expansion and increased customer orders, we are looking to recruit for a number of key roles across our Leisure Division based in Ilkeston.
The Role:
We are looking to recruit skilled and experienced Lockstitch Machinists to work within our Caravan Bedding Division. Candidates must have experience of machining various types of fabrics, a good eye for detail and quality with the ability to pattern match fabrics and ensure seam sizes are matched.
Candidates will have experience using a DURKOPP Adler machine or similar. The role involves sewing caravan seats, backrests, scatters and bolsters of which some are welted/ twin needled/topstitched.
Experience of working in a similar role within retail or manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

Requirements:
A similar background in manufacturing within the caravan market would be ideal for this role as this will involve a "hands on" approach straight away.
The successful applicant will be someone who has experience of working in a fast paced environment working to tight deadlines with a degree of flexibility regarding working hours.
