Application Support Analyst, BI Analyst, Application Reporting, SQL, UAT, MS Office, SQL Databases, Abingdon, Oxfordshire. 12 months fixed term contract.

This individual appointed to this fixed term contract role will be responsible for the support and maintenance of applications and SQL databases throughout our client's business. The role will also involve application reporting using internal reporting methods and the roll-out of additional BI tools.

Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will be directly involved in:

Application upgrades, enhancements and daily application processing procedures

Application based project work including migration and system integration

User Acceptance Testing, parallel and regression testing

Liaison with application system suppliers

For consideration candidates should have experience of performing a similar role supporting ERP/Accounting software, analysing business and technical problems, proposing and implementing appropriate solutions.

In addition to your broad based application support expertise, we are specifically seeking strong MS Office and SQL skills for the purposes of producing required reports. You will be analytical and methodical with above average attention to detail and first class written and verbal communication skills.

The role is based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. 12 months Fixed Term Contract. to GBP35000 depending on experience.
