Are you an experienced Sales or Customer Service professional looking to take on a new challenge? If so, we are now recruiting for a Barista / Catering Assistant and are looking for individuals just like you!
bb`s have proudly been serving our loyal customers and have grown from strength to strength since our inception, with now have over 50 cafes in the UK and Ireland. We are currently going through some exciting new changes and now have a fantastic opportunity available to expand the team for our branch based within the Gateshead Metro Centre, with both full and part time roles available.
Barista / Catering Assistant responsibilities:
You will be the forefront of our customer facing team and responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to every customer that steps in our coffee shop. The role will also involve helping to bake our signature muffins and snacks. You will be responsible for:
- Cash handling and operating the till.
- Making and serving a variety of food and beverages.
- Adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
- Dealing with any customer discrepancies or complaints in a professional manner.
- Ensuring the workstation and caf?? are kept clean.
- Answering any customer questions or queries.
- Any other adhoc duties as required.
- Working on weekends as and when required.
The ideal Barista / Catering Assistant:
In order to be successful for this position, you will need to be highly ambitious, confident and possess excellent customer service skills. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the family, who are hardworking and flexible with working times as we are a 7-day business. You will also be an excellent communicator and a real team player with a passion for what we provide for our customers.
This is a very fast paced environment in which the successful candidate will be sometimes dealing with stressful situations alongside serving customers and adhering to required timeframes. Ideally you will have solid experience of dealing with food and beverages in a face to face customer environment.
