My client has a fantastic opportunity to join them as a flexible switchboard operator in an award-winning local hospital. The main duties for this job are: Providing a first point of contact for the general public.Operating the hospital's central communication service and associated systems. Helping to provide a 24 hour service in a courteous and friendly manner.Responding to the needs of the Trust and its users.To operate the hospital's ISDX switchboard and answer calls within SLA timescales. The candidates would need to be able to work within an unpredictable environment and be able to multitask in difficult situations, however full training be provided. Due to the nature of the role, patient confidentiality must be adhered to. List of some of the systems: Maxims, BMS machine, Multitone i-Message, Medical gas alarm system, Seeker, Microsoft Office, Shared drives, and Siemens switchboard operator consoles. Hours are worked over a 4 week alternative shift pattern covering morning, day and evening shifts. Periodically night shifts may also be required to cover sickness and annual leave. We are looking for a friendly and patient personality, who can adapt to shift work; you must be able to work under pressure, as well as be reliable and dependable.
