Service Technician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a self-starter Service Technician to join an innovative manufacture and distribution company who develop leading solutions for challenging environments. Based in Warrington, North West, the successful Service Technician will join the market-leading company to earn circa £20,000, depending on experience.

Founded over 20 years ago, the innovative company’s growth has enabled them to establish strong global presence through their International Dealer Network providing sales, servicing and support to customers in over 25 countries worldwide. The Service Technicians goal is to drive success to improve customer satisfaction, maximize customer retention and increase profitability. The main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Providing service and customer support during on-site visits or factory based repairs
• Managing all on-site, in house installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Producing timely and detailed service reports
• Document processes
• Following all company’s filed procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Tie workflow to schedule
• Building positive relationships with customers

To be considered for the Service Technician role the successful candidate will possess the following key skills:

• Proven service experience in both mechanical and electrical/electronics
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
• Team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Familiar with hand tools and soldering applications
• Qualification- GCSE, HNC/HND, City & Guilds
