Group Sales & Marketing Director

Group Sales & Marketing Director required to join a renowned manufacturer based in Bath. My client is looking for a Group Sales & Marketing Director who's commutable to Bath with an engineering background (Preferably rotating equipment, electromechanical machinery, capital equipment or similar). Experience within the power, water, chemical, industrial automation and process control industries is required.

This is an office based position in Bath with some international travel. Candidates looking to relocate will be considered but must have the below criteria.

Applicants must have experience running a turnover of ??100 million and above.

Role
To achieve the Group sales revenue target
The Group Sales & Marketing Director will work alongside the management board to set the sales and marketing policy for the Group
To advise on Sales and Marketing related activities and to lead and drive the Group Sales and Marketing Strategy
Evaluating and supporting possible acquisitions and growth opportunities
Coach, mentor and develop the sales and marketing expertise
International travel to negotiate major contracts and framework agreements - approx. 25 weeks of travel per year
Lead and direct the sales & marketing function
Control of major contracts and framework agreements
Liaising with various engineering departments
Dealing with customers within the power, water, chemical, industrial automation and process control industries
Office based in Bath

Requirements
Knowledge of rotating equipment, electromechanical machinery, capital equipment or similar
Experience within the following industries - Power, water, chemical, industrial automation and process control industry
Must have proven experience as a Sales & Marketing Director / Group Sales Director
Must have experience running a turnover of ??100M and above
International sales experience
Full UK Driving Licence - Office based in Bath
HNC / Degree qualified in engineering / business / marketing
