Treetops Nurseries has a unique opportunity available for a Parents Liaison Advisor to join the team in Derby. The role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week (job share will be considered). We are offering a competitive salary plus bonus and 30% childcare discount.

We have a central office based in Derby and we are now looking for a Parents Liaison Advisor to join us immediately in a full time position. (We will also consider applications for Part Time on a job share basis). You will work in a small but very busy friendly team reporting to the Head of Marketing.

The Parent Liaison Advisor is a key part of the Marketing team, responsible for dealing with all inbound customer enquiries from any prospective Treetops parents. This role is generally the first point of contact for prospective parents and therefore must provide exceptional levels of customer service to ensure that their first impression of Treetops is ‘outstanding’ and exceeds expectations.

What are the responsibilities of the Parents Liaison Advisor?

- Dealing with all enquiries from any prospective Treetops parents from a number of sources; online (web and social media), telephone, email etc.

- Ensuring all parents’ questions are answered in a professional and timely manner.

- Ensuring literature and brochures are sent to parents in the format that suits them best or following up brochure requests from the website downloads.

- Arranging visits for parents to the nursery by liaising with the nursery teams and/or from the online booking system on the Treetops website.

- Writing and sending communications to parents confirming nursery visits and enclosing any relevant follow up information.

- Following up each enquiry to provide vital support to the parent to help them reach their decision to register their child for a place at a Treetops nursery by answering any questions they might have.

- Updating our nursery management system with parent’s details and status of their enquiry.

- Work with nurseries to ensure accuracy of all enquiry data.

- Generation of daily, weekly and monthly management reports.

- Working closely with the marketing and nursery teams when promotions and events are running to ensure the message is getting to all relevant prospective parents in all touchpoints managed by the Parent Liaison Team.

- Use SMS and e-mail marketing systems to promote events and offers.

- Ad hoc marketing and events related tasks as and when required.

What skills do I need to have to become a Parents Liaison Advisor?

Essential

- Experienced in administration in a customer focused role

- Exceptional levels of customer service

- Sound knowledge of working in all areas of IT, strong Excel skills

- Excellent organisational ability

- Excellent communication skills at all levels both written and oral

- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

- Attention to detail

- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team

Desirable

- NVQ Level 3 in Office Administration

- NVQ level 3 in Childcare

- Experience of working with children

- Experience of working in a call centre environment

- Experience of working with high volumes of work
