About the Role

As Facilities Assistant at their Bristol site, you will be responsible for carrying out all administrative support, activity co-ordination and required compliance activities relating to Facilities, Environmental and Health and Safety at local level.

Liaising with the Groups Risk and Facilities Managers, you will keep accurate and detailed documentation and make sure that all members of staff receive the appropriate Health and Safety training in order to meet their statutory obligations and business requirements. Utilising the Target 100 system to maintain a Health and Safety training matrix for all sites, you will ensure that the appropriate risk assessments are carried out whilst producing, implementing and delivering action plans relating to ISO 14001Environmental Management. Working with the management team at the site to administer the site daily maintenance list, you will ensure all work required is captured and outstanding tasks are completed in line with their Health and Safety / Facilities guidelines.

About You

They are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual who is able to work alone and as part of a team in a flexible, fast-paced environment. IT literate, particularly conversant in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, you will be capable of working under pressure to specific targets and deadlines and have a keen eye for detail.

A good understanding of Health and Safety / Facilities Management would be a distinct advantage as would IOSH or similar qualification.
