Our client is looking for an Animal Care Lecturer to join their team in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
This role will involve supporting and developing a successful and expanding Animal Management provision.
The successful applicant will teach across a range of animal care and equine management subjects for a wide range of students.
You will need to hold the minimum level qualification required to teach the subject area, for example, NVQ 3, HND or degree or professional industry qualifications and extensive industry experience.
You will need to be enthusiastic, have the drive and passion to implement curriculum developments, have good communications skills, be a team player and also be able to work on your own initiative.
You will need a teaching qualification, AET (PTLLS), CET (CTLLS), DET (DTLLS), Cert Ed or PGCE for this post. An assessing qualification such as TAQA / CAVA, A1 or D32 / D33 in addition to a teaching qualification would be advantageous.
You will also be enthusiastic, have the drive and passion to implement curriculum developments, have good communications skills, be a team player and also be able to work under your own initiative.
This role will mainly be classroom based with some travel required on occasion.

Hours: 37 hours per week. Standard working hours per week are between Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm. 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday. Flexibility required on occasion.
Holidays: 37 days per annum + 8 days public holidays + 5 days of Christmas closure
Salary:Up to £21,876 - £26,384 dependent upon experience and qualifications, plus excellent benefits.
Benefits: Local government pension scheme, NUS membership, Eyecare vouchers, Cycle to work scheme, on-site hair and beauty discounts, on-site restaurant discounts, company pool car can be used when visiting learners. Ongoing staff training and CPD opportunities.
