Project Manager - Learning and Development

GP Strategies Ltd (GPSL) is looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their team based in Solihull. GPSL, a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE:GPX), is a global performance improvement company. GPSL supports organisations in improving their ability to service their customers’ needs through innovative and creative training interventions, consulting, and business improvement solutions.

Based in Solihull you will be responsible for project management of assigned proposals and contracts and liaison with GP management to ensure effective project delivery.

As a Project Manager – Learning and Development your duties and responsibilities will be:

• To contribute a significant level of input to the GP Senior Management Team in establishing a strategy / development plan for designated commercial projects.
• To ensure that the quality systems are complied with, maintained and developed following the GP quality procedures.
• To contribute a significant level of input to marketing activities.
• To provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support when necessary for identified business development opportunities.
• To draft Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements to a signatory level, ensuring that all project contractual documents are maintained in accordance with GP Quality and DTP Procedures.
• To lead and manage project teams as designated and ensure that assigned projects are delivered effectively, within budget, to contract and on schedule. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record within Project Management, and experience of learning and development in addition to:

• Good standard of education or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrative training sector experience.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Proven account management / project management skills.
• Knowledge of appropriate quality systems.

Experience in Microsoft Office packages especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Any experience using MS Project would be desirable.

In addition exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, a professional and flexible approach to work, the ability to prioritise, high attention to detail, first class organisation and networking skills are also essential. You must also be able to work well both as part of a team and under your own initiative.
