Internal Sales & Key Account Manager for Swindon based supplier to the retail trade

The Role

The Sales / Key Account Manager will deal with main customer(s) managing the sales, commercial and customer service relationship. You will build strong relationships with the client, working on supply chain / technical / commercial pricing and delivery aspects of customer products and projects for retail fixtures, display equipment and point of sale ( POS ) products. The role is office based, with some travel to meetings with UK based clients. Responsibilities include:

• managing review and response to customer bids, tenders, quotations etc.
• ensuring all customer enquiries and issues are resolved quickly and accurately
• commercial administrative documentation / project managing processes
• managing costing processes through to margin application and selling price
• relationship building in an interactive and customer focused manner

Their integrated offering provides specialist expertise, project management and a wide range of merchandising products and services to take projects from concept design through to completion.

The Person

The ideal Sales / Key Account Manager will be highly numerate preferably with previous experience in a commercial office environment. Experience in estimating / costings / pricing / QS or knowledge of spreadsheets and cost / price modelling would be beneficial. You will be a competent IT / Microsoft applications ( Excel ) user and be able to work on your own initiative to offer outstanding customer service, sales and key account management.
