We are seeking a dynamic and business focused data specialist to join our Digital Services Team at Chelmsford City Council. As a public body that provides a wide range of services, we capture and hold large amounts of data. This role focuses on getting greater use and value out of our data with a particular focus on Geographical Information.
You will have well-developed knowledge and experience of Data Management techniques and Geographical Information Systems. You will have a proven ability to manage projects effectively, influence at a senior level in the organisation and develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
You will have the drive and commitment to shape and deliver future innovations through the collection, extraction, manipulation and presentation of data, and promote the use of data and information systems as a key tool for the business.
You will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Interviews will likely be held on 20 and 21 December.
